Whitecroft Lighting Ltd. is a manufacturer and marketer of up-market lighting fixtures. The company was an amalgamation of 4 different businesses; and had to reposition itself and had to integrate several factories. The strategy was focussed on complex lighting applications for hospitals and schools. The manufacturing function was concentrated in Ashton-under-Lyne. All other functions such as sourcing, marketing & sales, IT and finance were improved.
Whitecroft was sold to a trade buyer in July 2005.
