LIVIT Orthopedie is the market leader in the Netherlands in the assembly and marketing of orthopaedic shoes, protheses and orthotics. The company services its customers via a dense network of 40 orthopaedic care centres throughout the country and is active in over 300 hospitals, retirement homes and rehabilitation centres. The company has approximately 450 employees. 2007 turnover is approximately €50 million, making LIVIT a top-3 player in assembly and marketing of orthopaedic products in the world. LIVIT was sold in december 2007.
