DIT Bouw en Techniek (‘DIT’) is a group of companies active in staffing and secondment of technical personnel with total sales of approximately € 65 million and circa 1,200 employees. The company is active under a number of brands amongst which DIT Bouw & Techniek, The Payroll People and Primajob. The business has a nationwide network of branches and a market leading position in the Dutch market.

The company had a difficult year in 2009 as a result of the economic situation. However the company is positive on the future as it operates in a market with a long-term growth perspective. The shortage of skilled technical personnel is forecasted to increase as a result of a mismatch between the outflow, driven by ageing population, and the inflow of new technicians. Furthermore, construction and installation companies are forecasted to increase the level of flexible personnel after this economic downturn.

H2 Equity Partners has acquired a controlling position in DIT. The investment thesis is to create additional shareholder value by further optimizing the cost structure and by initiating a growth strategy including add-on acquisitions to leverage the existing infrastructure of the company and to expand into complementary but adjacent market segments.
