The company realized revenues of ca. € 130m during 2010 and employs ca. 400 FTE permanent staff in its operations in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Established as a business unit of Philips in 1982, Assembléon has delivered over 6,000 placement machines to more than 1,000 customers around the world. Assembléon current holds a top-5 global market position and is considered the technological top of the industry. H2 Equity Partners has acquired a controlling position in Assembléon. The investment thesis is to create additional shareholder value by growing the product portfolio, including the development and introduction of a new equipment line (iFlex), while optimizing the working capital structure. Philips remained a minority shareholder after the transaction with H2. |
