The average restaurant surface of around 1.000 m2 is substantial. All the restaurants are located at strategically attractive locations with high traffic.

Total revenues of Lunch Garden have been stable over the recent years and months and are approximately € 100 million annually. The company enjoys a reasonable profitability.

H2 Equity Partners has acquired a controlling position. The investment thesis is to create extra shareholder value through cost reductions and by improving the offering. A more attractive menu and décor will be aimed to induce trial and ensure repeat purchase from new consumers. An important part of the plan is to refurbish the restaurants for which a considerable budget has been made available. 

A recent government announcement of a substantial reduction of the value added tax on restaurant food could potentially create extra value.
