H2 Equity Partners acquires
JET Group and PR Group
Amsterdam, June 2011Investment company H2 Equity Partners announces that it has acquired 100% of the shares in JET Group and PR (Plastic Rooflight) Group, the latter consisting of BIK, Vaculux and Cox Building Products. JET and PR Group were part of the European rooflight and ventilation business of CRH plc, the international building materials group.
JET and PR Group develop and provide daylight and smoke & heat exhaust ventilation products and services throughout Europe. The companies have manufacturing and assembly operations in Germany, the Benelux and the UK, and have access to a strong network of Value Added Resellers throughout Europe. Products include standard domes, continuous rooflights and glass rooflight products. In addition, JET produces specialized expanded polystyrene packaging products. Together JET and PR Group posted revenues over € 100 million in 2010 and employ ca. 550 FTE.
The overall investment thesis of H2 is to create a pan-European market leader in specialized rooflight & ventilation products. The companies in the acquired group can benefit from each other in terms of sharing product technologies, achieving cost benefits and accelerating international growth.
